Jeopardy with the Heads of Department is a fast‑paced trivia night where students team up to compete in a game‑show style quiz hosted by their own department heads. Faculty play the role of quizmasters, guiding categories that range from subject‑area questions and university lore to light‑hearted pop culture and general knowledge.

Across the event, teams choose questions by category and difficulty, race to respond in classic Jeopardy format, and see how their knowledge stacks up against hints, commentary, and banter from academic staff. The aim is to create a relaxed, collaborative space where students can interact with department heads outside the classroom, build community across cohorts, and enjoy some friendly competition.
